The space between projects
The last one is done
The homelab works. The website is live. The blog is being posted to, almost daily. It’s fun and I like it. Am proud.
The goal was set, effort was exerted towards attaining the goal, and the goal was attained, all autonomously. Satisfaction was achieved.
But satisfaction can not last long, else we quickly die if dehydration.
Transition phase
Should I try to build an audience? Ew. Then why isn’t it just a paper journal?
I rather enjoy my brain as a poorly-guarded private club. It tickles my tummy to think a stranger could find this and read it. Giggling into the void and it’s giggling back at me.
Like a foreign god reading my mind. Judging me without having any power over me. Hi Nanshe! Did you cease to exist when you ceased to be worshiped?
I need to decide what my next project will be…
Ideas
- Restoring cool old bycicles - I already own some that need to be fixed
- Learning to code something cooler than a website - everything is already made, isn’t it?
- Read some biographies to get some ideas - people have done cool things and I can copy them
- Continue writing THE BOOK - I have 46 pages so far plus a huge list of ideas - it’s emotionally challenging to do
- Pick up oil painting again?
- Should I learn to spell or install a spell checker?
- Join a board game club?
When I am bored, I start troublemaking
I am too old to be so rowdy.
The last time I finished an obsession and was searching for a new one, I wrote all about it in my journal. This website is the result.
TUNE IN NEXT TIME FOR A RETROSPECTIVE OF THAT PROCESS AND AN ATTEMPT TO DO IT AGAIN
Use your life all the way up!!
