Fun History: Suez Canal Blockage
GFY
The Suez Canal was blocked for six days from 23 to 29 March 2021 by the Ever Given, a container ship that had run aground in the canal.

All that shit couldn’t get where it was going.
18,000 containers of consumer junk like electronics, toys, fast fashion, machinery, and other manufactured products.
But it doesn’t matter, because the cargo’s final destination was always going to be the same = the landfill.
The planet absorbs the aftermath.
“HOW DARE YOU!” -Greta
A guy literally died because he was trying to save some asshole’s millions.
It’s funny when those who exploit our beautiful planet have negative consequences.
We all had fun together
The internet, correctly, treated this saga like a comedy.
We counted the days and laughed at images of a single digger trying to free the Ever Given.

The excavator operator hated those memes. They made him work harder because of course they did.
LOL the name of this monstrosity was THE EVER GIVEN haha the universe made a joke
They tried to blame the captain (named Wang Dong!) of the ship. The audacity.
Do they not own mirrors? Surely they need Propofol to sleep at night.
Tragedy and comedy are a yin-yang. We laughed. Someone died. Both are true.
